Wildlife Hero Quiz
From 25th March 2019
Wildlife, nature and the environment are at the heart of our brand new Wildlife Hero Quiz. Pick up your quiz booklet when you enter, navigate the map and look for the logo on signs around the Park to find the answers. More info here
EASTER GOLDEN EGG CHALLENGE
6th to 22nd April
Our magnificent Golden Eagle ‘Talis’ is joining the ‘Eagles of Paradise’ flying display this summer, to celebrate her and all things golden you need to seek out the golden egg then claim your mini chocolate egg reward. More info here

The amazing ‘Eagles of Paradise’ display gives you the opportunity to see birds like Archie the Bald Eagle close up as they fly over and around you during these very informative and fascinating flying displays.
RED SQUIRREL RAMBLE
May Bank Holiday Weekend 4th – 6th May
See the Red Squirrels at Paradise Park, learn about what makes them unique, who shares their habitat and the Park’s role in breeding them for reintroduction into the wild. More info here
CARROT TIME in the FUN FARM
You’ll love meeting friendly sheep, pygmy goats, pedigree miniature donkeys plus rabbits and guinea pigs on the fun Farm. More here
FLIGHT OF THE RAINBOWS
Easter to October Half Term
Every day at 2pm, over 40 Swainson’s and Green-naped Lorikeets are released from their enclosure and swoop down on to the awaiting crowd! It’s a fantatsic experience and happens in the Australian Aviary exhibit. More here
BUG and BUTTERFLY QUEST
25th May to 2nd June
A fun way to explore the amazing world of insect life. Search out the questions around Paradise Park to learn about colourful butterflies, barmy bugs and creepy insects in our Whitsun ‘Bug & Butterfly Quest’. More photos here
FREE FLYING BIRD SHOW
Easter to end of September
Our presenters explain and display natural bird behaviours in a wonderfully entertaining way. The birds may vary but you will usually see a large, colourful macaw circle the stage before landing – this shows how important colour is for parrots, and then how the beak and feet work together in gathering and eating food. Other parrots help the presenters explain the role of parrot conservation and biodiversity, and how much care pet birds need. On many occasions you can also see Dave the Otter, showing off his skills of retrieving toy fish for rewards. Find out more here
A SUMMER OF PARROTS
July 26th to September 3rd
Celebrate the colourful world of parrots at the home of the World Parrot Trust. A myriad of parrot species to see, a quiz to test you and opportunities to meet and learn about these intelligent birds. More info here
RED PANDA WEEKEND
A fun weekend in support of Red Pandas – 21st and 22nd September
Become a Red Panda Ranger, join us for a special weekend to complete our quiz and claim your Red Panda Ranger badge, colouring sheets, gifts to buy, and a prize draw for a big cuddly toy Red Panda!
