Flight of the Rainbows Summer 2018
From Easter to the end of September, every day at 2pm, over 40 Swainson’s and Green-naped Lorikeets are released from their enclosure.
They swoop down onto the awaiting crowd of visitors in the Australian Aviary exhibit as part of the Flight of the Rainbows experience.
Staff prepare pots of nectar which you can purchase for just £1 guaranteeing you will receive some close attention from these wonderfully mischievous little characters.
Director of Paradise Park Alison Hales comments “Flight of the Rainbows is one of many visitor experiences here at the Park and is extremely popular. You never know quite what is going to happen. You could end up covered in birds all vying for some nectar and squawking as they try to push each other out of the way.”
