Penguins play with snowflakes
Yes it snowed in Cornwall! A rare event for this part of the UK, but on the morning of 6th February 2018, flurries of snow decended on Paradise Park in Hayle to the delight of the resident penguins, which chased around the pool trying to catch snowflakes in their beaks.
Humbold’s Penguins live along the coasts of Chile and Peru where it can be very warm. So snow is not something they would come across in the wild.
