Red Panda Experience Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase, booking and participation of our Red Panda Experience. Paradise Park is herein referred to as PP.
PP reserves the right to alter or cancel dates for an experience due to reasons such as animal welfare issues, severe weather or health & safety issues. We will notify the participant of any such changes or cancellations as early as possible. Regrettably PP cannot be held responsible for other costs affected by such changes (including travel and accommodation etc.).
Where open dated vouchers are issued, these will be valid for 12 months from the date of payment for the voucher (unless otherwise stated). It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the voucher is booked and used within this time frame, and no refunds or bookings will be given/accepted if that final date is missed. The integrity of the voucher is the responsibility of the participant and as such it is their responsibility to ensure that the voucher is not used by anyone else (each voucher is only valid on a single occasion).
Where a set date is booked for an experience, if required, we will accept a date change up to 3 months prior to the experience. After this time we will only change the date or time under exceptional circumstances and at our discretion.
There is a high demand for the Red Panda Experience and as such they do need to be booked in advance. All experiences are booked on a first come first served basis and no assumption should be made that a booking is secure until full payment has been paid and it has been confirmed by a member of our staff.
The Red Panda experience is on a very strict time frame and is an integral part of our animal keeper staff daily routine. As such, in some instances, if a participant arrives late for an experience, they may miss part or all of the event. If we are not warned of late arrival in advance, it may be necessary to cancel the booking with no refund.
Standard terms and conditions of entry apply to the Red Panda Experience here at Paradise Park. If a participant is thought to be behaving in a way which is unsuitable within the park, aggressive or unsafe, PP staff reserve the right to remove the participant from the premises without a refund.
CONDITIONS
The Paradise Park meet and greet experience is available for adults and children over the age of 10 years, however please note, that children between the ages of 10 to 15 years old must be accompanied by a spectating parent/guardian.
*For children aged 10-15 years, accompanying spectating parent/guardian allowed free entry to the Park and can watch from the public viewing area. If the parent/guardian wants to join in the experience in the enclosure, then you would have to pay the ‘two person’ price. Please note any additional family/friends will need to pay standard admission fees to watch from the public viewing area outside the enclosure.
RESTRICTIONS
Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with relevant phobias or known allergies; pregnant women; and immunocompromised individuals. Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved; please contact admin@paradisepark.org.uk at Paradise Park for advice before booking.
WHEELCHAIR TRAINED RED PANDAS
The Red Pandas are now ‘wheelchair trained’. Although it is not guaranteed, the Red Pandas are usually happy to sit on a person’s lap. Keepers report that it didn’t take long for the pandas to become comfortable having this new item close by. The enclosure had been designed to be accessible, and now we are confident that wheelchair users can have a great Red Panda Experience.
