Pygmy Goats

This is a small, tough and friendly breed of goat which came originally from Africa.

A pygmy goat is a breed of miniature domestic goat. They enjoy having items to jump on like to leap and are very good climbers.

African pygmy goats prefer to browse rather than pasture. On occasion, they will eat fruit, vegetables and hay.

There population is unknown but there are a great number as they are kept domestically.

Females, called does, weigh 24 to 34 kg (53 to 75 lb) and males, called bucks, weigh 27 to 39 kg (60 to 86 lb). The color and pattern of their coats vary significantly.
