Spangled Cotinga only ones in the UK

We were fortunate recently to have been given two male Spangled Cotinga. As far as we know these are the only two of their species within UK zoos.

We are looking to see if there may be other Spangled Cotinga within UK aviculture but to date have not discovered any others.
There are 25 birds within 11 European Zoos (14 males and 11 females) with only one young bird having been bred in 2025.
So, if you know of any female Spangled Cotinga out there, please get in touch. We have two lovely lads looking for love…
