You just need to be happy to use one of our trowels, plus we have a few kneelers available, to dig a hole to tuck in the ‘in the green’ snowdrop plants.

Treat your mum to a walk around the Park, spring flower planting and maybe a Cornish cream tea, delicious cake or other delights from the Otter Pool Café

Special Mother’s Day weekend discount. £5 off all single tickets when booking online using discount code ‘SNOWDROPS’. Valid for visits on the Saturday 29th and Sunday Mother’s Day 30th March 2025.

Other daily events include twice daily otter feeding (look out for our teenage pups who are now as big as mum Pippin and dad Katarni) and penguin keeper talk and feeding time.

Director Alison explains “Snowdrops look beautiful and provide nectar for the first bees which emerge after the winter. Over the last few years, and helped by our visitors, we have planted 9,000 snowdrops in the Woodland Walk area near the Fun Farm. It would be lovely to see you on Mother’s Day to help us add another 1,000, reach the 10,000th plant and make the carpet of white flowers even bigger next for February.”

Below families join in planting snowdrops in previous years.
